Sean Holmes made his league of Ireland Goalkeeping debut for Bray Wanderers last night after coming on to replace the sent off Darren Quigley. Sean who recently signed for Bray came on at half time in the 2-2 Draw with UCD at the Carlise Grounds and helped Bray to fight back to a earn valuble point against the Students with a CLEAN SHEET ON DEBUT.

Sean joined Just4Keepers Goalkeeper Coaching Schools in Dublin over 5 years ago at the age of 13 and has been Goalkeeper Training with J4K ever since. J4K Coach Matt Gregg said ‘ Sean has all the attributes to be top Professional Goalkeeper here in Ireland and maybe the UK, so this break through comes as no surprise to me. Sean was never afraid of hard work and trained sometimes 6 times a week to be the best he could be, it goes to show if you are prepared to put the hard work in during Goalkeeper Training you will get the rewards you deserve’

Sean will now be in line to take the gloves for 1 or maybe three games while Quigley is suspended, where he will receive great support from the Bray faithful after a fantastic reception last night, Sean said ‘ it was great for the fans to get behind me when i came on which gave me confidence during the game, i know its only half a game but it was a great feeling to make my debut at such a high standard of football and also keep a clean sheet, i will continue to train hard and keep improving as i realise i still need to improve certain  aspects of my game.

Just4Keepers Goalkeeper schools in Ireland have now helped more than 20 keepers move to PRO FOOTBALL clubs in Ireland, UK & USA. Seans Dad Aiden said ‘ i first sent Sean to Just4Keepers when he was 13 years old, i knew he had the height for a Keeper but was rough at the edges, after just a couple of months i could see his confidence, techninique and all round game improve immensley, Goalkeeper training in Dublin was essential in Seans development.
