Just4Keepers Goalkeeper Eric Barber has signed for Ytterhogdal IK, a Swedish 4th Division side, managed by Englishman Ben Smith. He will move there this month (April 2013) to begin training with the club and his new team-mates.

 Eric enjoyed Goalkeeper Coaching in Dublin with J4K during his time with Broadford Rovers & Crumlin United before earning a scholarship at League Of Ireland Club UCD AFC, Eric continued to train with Just4Keepers Goalkeepers Camps and established himself on the UCD Leinster Senior team. Eric said “I am very excited to be heading over to Sweden to experience full-time football in a different country, thanks to J4K’s Goalkeepeing contacts accross Europe i have been presnted with this opportunity.” Eric began training with Matt Gregg when he launched J4K in Ireland and stayed training for over 4 years. “My Goalkeeper training with Matt and other Goalkeepers has definitely helped me to improve my game and the Goalkeeper coaching tips and vast Goalkeeping experiance Matt gave me have allowed me to further progress,”

J4K coach Matt Gregg commented on Erics move to Northern Europe “Eric now has a great opportuity to train Full-time as a Professional Goalkeeper and can improve his game even more with training every day, when i was contacted by Ben i had no hesitation in reccomending Eric, everyone at J4K wishes Eric all the very best and will be wanting weekly updates of his progress.
